There appeared some info on the upcoming mainboard from AOpen based on VIA Apollo Pro266 chipset (VT8633 North Bridge). This Socket370/FC-PGA board should come out in February and will be called AX-37+.
This will be an ATX mainboard equipped with 3 DIMM slots for up to 3GB PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP 4x and 1 CNR slot. It will feature an integrated ATA/100 RAID controller from Promise, V-Link bus, 6 USB ports and integrated AC’97 sound (AD1885). As for other peculiarities, it will go with DIE-HARD BIOS technology, DR LED support (this is a panel with color LEDs installed into the regular 5-inch case bay and optional Dr Voice support (voiced error diagnostics).
