iPanel-like solutions are getting more and more popular with the time. After MSI had shared its plans in this direction, there appeared a similar solution from AOpen, which is selling now in Japan. This device costs around $17. It is called "Dr. LED" and has much fewer features than ASUS iPanel. Although Dr. LED occupies the entire 5-inch bay in the PC case, the only thing it has is a set of 7 light emitting diodes on the front panel. These diodes report the errors taking place during the system boot up. Besides, there is enough room for up to 10 CDs inside Dr. LED that is why the primary role of this device seems to be a CD-holder than a diagnostic tool.
