We have already told you that after ELSA had gone bankrupt, two new manufacturers expressed their desire to be responsible for the production of professional graphics cards based on NVIDIA Quadro chips. These were PNY, which will aim at the American market, and Leadtek, which should work in the Asian and European market. A few days ago we got a really great evidence proving that the professional graphics cards family from Leadtek is nearly ready.
This Chinese sire posted a few pictures of the boxes designed for these graphics cards based on Quadro4 chips. The graphics cards are actually not so interesting to look at because they are carefully following the reference design.<%BANNER[article]%>
Leadtek is going to ship the entire family of solutions based on Quadro4 XGL and Quadro4 NVS chips. The cards correspond fully to NVIDIA standard specifications. Leadtek expects that the production volumes of professional solutions will reach 10,000 pieces by the end of 2002. The cards from Leadtek based on NVIDIA Quadro4 will start shipping to the market in September.
