Leadtek to Make Professional Graphics Cards

After the collapse of the German ELSA Company, NVIDIA had to search for new partners to design professional graphics cards on Quadro chips. It turned out far not that simple to find partners like that, so that until recently the American PNY Company was the only one to ship graphics cards of the kind. However, the problem with PNY was the absence of a distributor network in Asia and Europe, which implies that the graphics cards were shipped only within America.

Luckily for NVIDIA there is one more partner now, which agreed to produce professional graphics cards for NVIDIA. This is the Taiwanese Leadtek Company. Leadtek is expected to get exclusive right to spread NVIDIA Quadro based solutions in Asia. Also keeping in mind that Leadtek has been pretty successful selling its graphics cards in Europe, we expect to see its professional graphics cards not only in Asia as well.<%BANNER[article]%>

We would also like to point out one more very important detail. PNY doesn’t have any production capacities and has always placed orders with third manufacturers. That is why we expect Leadtek to be the one to produce all graphics cards on NVIDIA Quadro chips and to share them then with PNY, which will sell them under their own brand name.
