Johnny Shih, the chairman of the ASUS Board of Directors announced that Hua Ching Company (a division of ASUS) would start mass shipments of the new mainboards under ASROCK brand name (see our July news for more details on that) this September. It seems they are willing to be ready by the "back to school" season. Until then they will be shipping only small trial supplies to selected customers.
As you already know, ASUS established Hua Ching division to be able to enter the Value mainboards market without hurting the "expensive" ASUS brand. Hua Ching mainboards will be manufactured in China and will be sold as ASROCK products. In fact, China is considered to become the major market for these products together with India, Central and Southern America.
