If we take the info coming from C.P.Technology owning PowerColor trade mark and being one of the major manufacturers of ATI based graphics cards for granted, the new upcoming chip of the latter targeted for the Value market and known as RV250 will be officially called RADEON 9000 (or RADEON 9000 Pro). The working frequencies of ATI RV250 based products will make 275MHz for the chip and 550MHz for the memory.
This info cropped up after the announcement of RV25A-B3 graphics card from PowerColor, which is based on this particular chip. BTW, the latter is officially due only on July 17, as we have already mentioned in our news.<%BANNER[article]%>
If this info is correct (and it really looks like correct), then I could probably draw a few additional conclusions:
