Infineon made an official press-release announcing their new DDR SGRAM chips capable of working at 900MHz DDR frequency with CAS Latency equal to 4. The new chips are 128Mbit ones arranged as 4M x 32 and work at 1.8V. They are packed into 144-pin 11mm x 11mm FBGA package complying with JEDEC standard.
The first supplies of these chips are already available for order at $9.95 per unit and their mass production is scheduled for Q4 2002.
