The stocks of NVIDIA company started going down a lot and by Thursday reached their 18-month minimum. On Thursday they were selling at $17.08 per stock, while in January they cost $72.66.
This reduction is in the first place connected with the investors’ concerns about the revenues of the company: the demand for graphics chips for Microsoft X-box console can get lower soon. Besides, NVIDIA is increasing the sales volumes but reduces the prices (because of the competition with ATI), which will never increase their revenues. However, the investors major concerns are connected with the general situation in the entire IT sector. As for NVIDIA, nothing has actually happened to them.
