Our friends from the Italian HWUpgrade site posted some pictures of the reference graphics cards based on ATI RV250 chip with a comment that this chip is due in July already. One of the cards was equipped with 3.3ns memory chips, which implies that it should work at 300MHz DDR frequency (600MHz). Another card featured 3/6ns memory (275MHz/550MHz). The remarkable thing is that one of the cards equipped with faster memory didn’t have any fan on this graphics chip heatsink. Puzzling, isn’t it? :)
There should be 3 versions of RV250 coming, which will be targeted for different market segments respectively.
