Comdex Fall is almost over, but I still have a lot of interesting facts to share with you. NVIDIA Corporation exposes their CK8 core-logic based mainboard at the tradeshow in Las Vegas. Although they first unveiled their CK8 chipset at Computex Taipei 2002, if I am not mistaken, there were very few technical details reported about the novelty.

The CK8 is the only one-chip core-logic solution for AMD Athlon 64 CPUs at the moment. NVIDIA’s platform processor include the GeForce4 MX graphics core, AGP 8x controller and certain I/O functions. The unit is made using 0.15 micron manufacturing technology at TSMC facilities.

Unfortunately, there is again not a lot to say about the novelty, except two rather interesting facts:

There is no official information in regards exact availability date of the newcomer.
