Another world’s well-known memory manufacturer is about to announce the shipments of its products, which can be called "PC1066 RDRAM RIMM modules" (we put it this way because the certification tests haven’t yet been completed). According to The Inquirer, Kingston is about to start shipping these modules with 256MB capacity and 32ns access time any day (the same as Transcend launched yesterday, see this news story). These modules will be selling for $263.
Kingston is using Toshiba components at this time for the PC1066 (16-bit) RDRAM and they are shipping immediately to customers.
