This Chinese web-site shared with us some info about the Celeron processor built on 0.18micron Willamette-128 core and working at 1.7GHz core clock frequency.
In fact, the pictures do not reveal anything especially outstanding. The CPU looks very similar to the regular PGA478 Pentium 4 processor. The only difference is the marking and of course, the L2 cache size (it is 128KB by Celeron). Nevertheless, the CPU is new that is why we were very curious to take a look at it. :)<%BANNER[article]%>
As you remember, Celeron processors on Willamette-128 core should be officially launched later this month and are supposed to last for a pretty short period of time, as to some unofficial info (see this news story).
