Two More FIC Mainboards

Today FIC announced two more mainboards, though they are a little bit less exciting compared with this one, because they use the already not very new KT333 and SiS650 chipsets.

• AN17. This is a pretty standard mainboard on KT333 chipset. It is designed in ATX form-factor, supports Socket A processors, is equipped with 3 DIMM slots for up to 3GB PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM. Besides, there are 5 PCI and 1 AMR slot, AGP 4x slot, ATA/133 support due to VIA VT8233A South Bridge, 4 USB ports, AC’97 ALC201A codec from Realtek. The mainboards may be provided with an optional ATA/133 RAID controller from Promise and of course, supports FIC’s brand NOVUS technology (BIOS Guardian, HotKey, Overclock Partner).
• VI31. This is a standard mainboard for a relatively cheap office or home PC. It is designed in MicroATX form-factor, supports Socket478 Pentium 4 processors with 400MHz QP bus. It is equipped with 2 DIMM slots for up to 2GB PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM, 3 PCI slots and an AGP 4x slot. The mainboard features integrated SiS315 graphics core, ATA/133 support implemented in SiS961 South Bridge, 6 USB ports, AC’97 codec integrated into the chipset South Bridge. The mainboard may go with an optional 10/100 Realtek RTL 8100BL Ethernet controller and supports brand name NOVUS technology (BIOS Guardian, HotKey, Overclock Partner).
