Well, ASUS has also joined those mainboard manufacturers, which have already released their SiS645DX based products (see this news story). The company officially launched P4S533 mainboard, which we have already told you about here. As we have already mentioned, the mainboard is based on the same PCB as P4S333 and has many of its features.

Here are the brief specs of the new product for your reference. It is designed in ATX form-factor for Socket478 Pentium 4 processors (supports Pentium 4 with 400MHz FSB and 533MHz Quad Pumped Bus). It features 3 DIMM slots for up to 2GB PC2700 or 3GB PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP 4x slot, 1 CNR slot. The mainboard also supports ATA/133 (SiS961 revision “B”), 6-channel integrated C-media CMI8738 sound controller (S/PDIF in/out), optional 10/100 Ethernet (supported by the chipset). Besides, the board will also offer ASUS’ brand technologies, such as: MyLogo (logo change on boot-up), Q-Fan (fan speed control), Post Reporter (voice messages about errors during POST), EX Plug (old PSUs support) and of course overclocking friendly features (with the jumpers or via BIOS).<%BANNER[article]%>

If only this product cost $100 (while the average mainboard on this chipset costs around $80), but these are only dreams... In reality ASUS P4S533 will sell at around $140.
