SiS company has published a press-release, announcing a new SiS962 South Bridge. It will become a successor to SiS961B and will have a difference only in supporting 6 USB 2.0 ports. All other specifications are the same: MuTIOL bus connection with the North Bridge, ATA-133 support, IEEE 1394a, net, sound, modem, etc.
As usually, SiS press-release doesn’t say a word about serial production launch dates. They will definitely issue a separare press-release as soon as it gets ready to this important event. We are only dealing with another "paper" SiS chip so far.
