According to TheInquirer, another CPU from the Pentium 4 line clocked at 2.4GHz will be officially announced on April 1. Like its predecessors, this CPU will have a 0.13-micron Northwood core with 512KB L2 cache. It will work with 400MHz Quad Pumped Bus. The price at launch will amount to $562.
The new Pentium 4 2.4GHz won’t support a faster 533MHz bus yet. A similarly clocked CPU intended for this bus will arrive in the beginning of May.<%BANNER[article]%>
Pentium 4 2.4GHz will have heat generation of 57.8W, while the CPU itself will work at 1.5V Vcore.
