As we expected, Intel has reduced the prices for its value CPU line of Celeron. The price-cut turned out even stronger than it was planned some two weeks ago.
1.3GHz processors got down from $103 till $84 (by 18% at a time!), 1.2GHz models - from $89 till $79 (11%), 1.10AGHz (0.13-micron) - from $79 till $69 (13%) and 1A GHz (0.13-micron) - from $69 till $64 (prices per item in over-1000-piece quantities). Celeron CPUs with the old 0.18-micron Coppermine-128 core are not included in the price-list any more.
