Intel to Reduce CPU Prices on Monday

According to our sources, Intel is going to reduce the processor prices for its budget Celeron solutions on Monday:

Intel Celeron 1.3GHz will drop from $103 to $89;
Intel Celeron 1.2GHz - from $89 to $84;
Intel Celeron 1.1GHz - from $79 to $74.

This way, Intel is getting ready for the last Celeron model based on Tualatin-256 core and working at 1.4GHz to come, and the entire processor family to move to a new Willamette-128 core.
