Well, it’s been a really long while since Matrox reminded us of itself and its plans. Maybe in order to give us to understand that they are still in the market, Matrox announced a new graphics card, which I personally will hardly ever call new.
They introduced Millennium G450 32MB PCI differing from the predecessor by twice as much memory: 32MB DDR SDRAM wit 64bit access. As a result, the resolution supported on both monitors increased up to 1600x1200. The card features DB-15 and DVI connectors. It goes with a DVI-to-DB-15 adapter and should start selling in retail beginning from March 1 for around $115. TV-Out cable and a software DVD-player are selling separately.
