VIA KT333 Based Mainboards from EPoX

Our sources shared with us some details about four very interesting EPoX mainboards on the upcoming VIA KT333 chipset.

The new family will include:

8K3A: KT333/8233A, 6 PCI, AGP 4x, POST-controller;
8K3AL: KT333/8233A, 6 PCI, AGP 4x, no overclocking friendly features;
8K3A+: KT333/8233A, 6 PCI, AGP 4x, POST-controller, HPT372 (dual-channel ATA/133 RAID);
8K3A2: KT333/8233A, 6 PCI, AGP 4x, POST-controller, HPT374 (four-channel ATA/133 RAID).

All the solutions will start shipping in the end of the month or in the beginning of the next month. <%BANNER[article]%>

As you can see, all the mainboards will be equipped with 266MB/sec V-Link South Bridge. However, EPoX is also planning to release a similar mainboard family with the 533MB/sec V-Link implemented in VT8235 South Bridge. These mainboards’ names will start with "EP-8K5..." and will come out in about two months.
