Seagate Technology today announced the milestone shipment of its 30 millionth Cheetah disc drive, confirming its position as the most popular and widely-adopted Enterprise disc drive in the world.

Seagate Cheetah disc drives can be found in a variety of network storage, server storage and high-density storage markets. Available in 10K and 15K rpm speeds, with capacities ranging from 18 to 147GBs, Cheetahs are ideal for applications ranging from data warehousing, high performance computing, OLTP, data streaming, database and decision support. With the very high levels of reliability, the widest range of capacities, and the fast I/O performance options, Seagate Cheetah hard disc drives are a among the most popular enterprise solutions.
