While the SSDs do not seem to be the most affordable by today's standards, they may be an interesting buy, provided that they ensure consistent high performance for a long time.
The new-generation M5S features True Speed enhancement to Marvell's latest controllers, a Plextor’s exclusive high-speed sustaining and non-declining performance technology that features random read/write speed up to 73000/70000 IOPS [input/output operations per second] as well as the continuous read/write speed up to 520/390MB/s. The M5S SSD can truly responds to the complex access environment of the computer and bring a superb computing performance under stable speeds.
