You definitely know almost everything about the upcoming graphics solutions from NVIDIA: the GeForce4 MX and Ti with AGP 8x support (if you do not, please turn to this and this news-stories), now I am going to fulfil the remaining part: to offer you some pictures of the GeForce4 MX420 AGP 8x and the GeForce4 MX440 SE AGP 8x. The manufacturer of these two products is a big company from Taiwan, however, knowing that they will not like their name to be published now, I decided to post the photographs with the brand-name removed.

There is nothing interesting in the GeForce4 MX420 graphics card, no changes in PCB design, but the more powerful device definitely has some things worth mentioning:

  • BGA memory chips. Just like on the GeForce4 MX460 based graphics cards.
  • DVI-I connector. If you remember, there were no GeForce4 MX440 powered products with this type of connectors.
  • Pretty interesting D-Sub connector. No filters at all and the connector itself does not resemble anything I have seen before.

Remember that the GeForce4 MX graphics cards with AGP 8x support will be available in October for the price of ordinary GeForce4 MX cards with AGP 4x.
