VisionTek announced three new additions to the graphics cards lineup based on the newest visual processor units in ATI’s RADEON family of products. The XSTASY 9800 PRO, XSTASY 9600 and XSTASY 9200 solutions will soon hit the stores across the USA.

The XSTASY 9800 PRO is based on the RADEON 9800 PRO graphics processors and should run at designated 380/680MHz frequencies for core and memory. VisionTek’s XSTASY 9600 is powered by ATI’s RADEON 9600 chip and runs at 325/400MHz for the VPU and DDR SDRAM memory. The XSTASY 9200 is designed for price-conscious customers and features ATI’s RADEON 9200 chip.

From now, VisionTek’s product line looks as follows:

  • XSTASY 9800 PRO – RADEON 9800 PRO VPU; 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory; DirectX 9.0 support; 8 rendering pipelines with 1 TMU per each; 380/680MHz core/memory clocks; 256-bit memory bus.
  • XSTASY 9500 PRO – RADEON 9500 PRO VPU; 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory; DirectX 9.0 support; 8 rendering pipelines with 1 TMU per each; 275/540MHz core/memory clocks; 128-bit memory bus.
  • XSTASY 9600 - RADEON 9600 VPU; 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory; DirectX 9.0 support; 4 rendering pipelines with 1 TMU per each; 325/400MHz core/memory clocks; 128-bit memory bus.
  • XSTASY 9100 - RADEON 9100 (8500) GPU; 64 or 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory; DirectX 8.1 support; 4 rendering pipelines with 2 TMU per each; 250/500MHz core/memory clocks; 128-bit memory bus.
  • XSTASY 9200 - RADEON 9200 (9000 with AGP 8x) GPU; 64 or 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory; DirectX 8.1 support; 4 rendering pipelines with 1 TMU per each; 250/400MHz core/memory clocks; 128-bit memory bus.

VisionTek plans to bring products based on each new family of products to its retailers, e-tailers, direct marketers, and system builders as these products becomes available from ATI Technologies. VisionTek’s current line of XTASY products is available at leading retailers including CompUSA and Fry’s Electronics.
