Earlier today we told you about the RADEON 9200 SE graphics card that that was expected to join the family of the RADEON 9200-series. Our reader, who commented on the news-story here, said that VisionTek already offers such products on its web-site here.

Evidently, the RADEON 9200 SE is a RADEON 9200-derivative designed for value-minded customers who can afford a graphics card at very low price-point or simply do not need a powerful solution. RADEON 9200 SE graphics processor is clocked at 200MHz, memory of the product is clocked at 333MHz, but there is no information whether 64-bit or 128-bit memory bus is implemented.

As a result, ATI’s RADEON 9200 family looks like this:

  • RADEON 9200 PRO: 275/550MHz for core/memory, D-Sub, DVI-I, TV-Out connectors, 128 or 64MB of DDR SDRAM, AGP 8x, DirectX 8.1;
  • RADEON 9200: 250/400MHz for core/memory, D-Sub, DVI-I, TV-Out connectors, 128 or 64MB of DDR SDRAM, AGP 8x, DirectX 8.1;
  • RADEON 9200 SE: 200/333MHz for core/memory, D-Sub, DVI-I, TV-Out connectors, 128 or 64MB of DDR SDRAM, AGP 8x, DirectX 8.1;
  • RADEON 9200 SE: 200/333MHz for core/memory, D-Sub, DVI-I connectors, 64MB of DDR SDRAM, PCI, DirectX 8.1;

Currently VisionTek offers 128 and 64MB RADEON 9200 SE graphics cards for AGP 8x and 64MB RADEON 9200 SE graphics card for PCI-bus. Pricing of all devices to be unveiled and may vary.

Hi, I have a computer with XP home edition ver 2003. Its working well but somehow I have this problem: every time I start the computer it wants to install the "Multimedia controller"and the PCI Simple Communication controller". Ï have tried to install the two drivers from every where but I could find out how. If any one of you could help me I would appriciate it very much
