The CEO of Gigabyte Technology was seen near NVIDIA’s own exhibition in Taipei Taiwan today, while Gigabyte’s graphics cards powered by GeForce FX GPUs were showcased in Gigabyte’s booth at Computex Taipei 2003 trade-show at the same time.

FiringSquad web-site even managed to picture Gigabyte’s upcoming graphics card based on NVIDIA’s technology. There are no specifications of the part, moreover, the solution does not utilize Gigabyte’s trendy blue PCB and more resembles a concept design, but not a finalized product soon hitting the shelves.

Based on reports from different sources, it looks like Gigabyte will offer a lot of ATI Technologies-based solutions this year, considering that the company is showcasing a lot of Powered by ATI graphics cards in its Computex Taipei 2003 booth. As for Gigabyte’s graphics lineup 2004, there is no information, whether the company will maintain relationships with both leading developers of VPUs or will stick to only NVIDIA or only ATI.

I do not expect massive NVIDIA-based lineup from Gigabyte to come this year since only one NV3x graphics card is being demonstrated at the moment. If the Taiwanese manufacturer wanted to promote its NVIDIA GeForce FX graphics cards, it would shown a lot of actual products during the world’s third largest PC exhibition.
