While some web-sites over the World Wide Web removed pictures of graphics cards based on NVIDIA NV38 Graphics Processing Units due to reminder from NVIDIA about NDA violation, the man himself, Mr. Jen-Hsun Huang – the CEO of NVIDIA – was seen with an NV38-based graphics card in his hands at Computex Taipei 2003.

You can see the pictures of the co-founder of the world’s largest graphics processor developer with a successor for the GeForce FX 5900 Ultra in his hands below. Besides, you may have a look on the graphics cards in higher-resolution and read some of our comments concerning the NV38 in our Monday’s news-story.

NVIDIA’s NV38 graphics processor is to be branded as the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and will succeed the NV35 aka GeForce FX 5900 Ultra chip this fall. The difference between the former and the latter is supposed to consist in the clock-speed increase and maybe also in some micro-architecture tweaks. It is generally believed that the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra will be clocked at 500/1000MHz for core and memory, a bit higher than the GeForce FX 5900 Ultra speeds of 450/850MHz respectively. 3D graphics feature-set of the NV38 and NV35 products is expected to be the same.

Mr. Jen-Hsun Huang co-founded NVIDIA in April 1993 and has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of the company since its inception. From 1985 to 1993, Mr. Huang was employed at LSI Logic Corporation, a computer chip manufacturer, where he held a variety of positions, most recently as Director of Coreware, the business unit responsible for LSI's “system-on-a-chip” strategy. From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Huang was a microprocessor designer for Advanced Micro Devices. Mr. Huang holds a B.S.E.E. degree from Oregon State University and an M.S.E.E. degree from Stanford University.
