Terratec, a well-known supplier of audio cards, who entered graphics business about a year ago with NVIDIA GeForce4 and GeForce FX products, has decided to add some RADEON SKUs into the roadmap to better reflect customers’ requirements.
A German web-site TweakPC reports about Mystify RADEON 9800 XT, Mystify RADEON 9600 XT and Mystify RADEON 9200 SE graphics cards scheduled to come in January 2004. Pricing of the graphics cards will be 499 Euro, 169 Euro and 59 Euro respectively, in case the information is correct.

Currently Terratec lists GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, GeForce FX 5900 Ultra, GeForce FX 5800 Ultra, GeForce FX 5800, GeForce FX 5600 Ultra, GeForce FX 5200 Ultra, GeForce FX 5200, GeForce4 Ti4800SE, GeForce4 Ti4200 and GeForce4 MX440-based graphics cards at price-points from 89 Euro to 899 Euro.
It is not clear whether Terratec plans to produce Powered by ATI graphics cards on its own, or to outsource the manufacturing to third-party companies, such as Sapphire Technology, CP Technology or MSI.
Terratec’s officials did not comment on the report.
