An official statement from Terratec Electronic today confirmed a rumour about possible collaboration between ATI Technologies and the well-known multimedia products vendor from Germany.

By now, Terratec Electronic, a partner of NVIDIA Corporation, has successfully concluded negotiations with the Markham, Ontario-based ATI, the arch-rival of NVIDIA. Starting from January 2004, Terratec will also market “Powered by ATI” series of products under Mystify brand-name. With more options for clients both companies will be able to expand their market reach and improve financial performance.

Initially the German firm will offer Mystify RADEON 9800 XT, Mystify RADEON 9600 XT and Mystify RADEON 9200 SE graphics cards. Pricing of these products will be 499 Euro, 169 Euro and 59 Euro respectively, in case the unofficial information regarding pricing is correct.
