ATI Technologies’ visual processing units designed for PCI Express bus have all been certified by PCI Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG). Surprisingly, the group also certified yet unannounced products from ATI Technologies.

This PCI-SIG Integrators List includes all products that have a complete and satisfactory PCI Compliance Checklist on file at PCI-SIG, have passed the test criteria set forth at the PCI Compliance Workshops and are production ready. Earlier this year a document presumably made by NVIDIA Corp., ATI’s arch-rival, stated that ATI’s GPUs could not pass PCI-SIG tests, unlike NVIDIA’s products

Currently the list of ATI’s visual processing units certified by PCI-SIG includes RADEON X300, RADEON X600, RADEON X700, RADEON X800, MOBILITY RADEON X600, FireGL V3100, FireGL V3200 product series as well as code-named M22, M26, R420, R480, RV410 GL and R480 GL graphics products. Additionally, ATI’s code-named RS400 and RS480 chipsets are also certified by PCI-SIG.

PCI-SIG is the Special Interest Group that owns and manages PCI specifications as open industry standards. The organization defines and implements new industry standard I/O (Input/Output) specifications as the industry's local I/O needs evolve. Currently, more than 900 industry-leading companies are active PCI-SIG members worldwide.
