A leading hardware maker ABIT has unveiled its RADEON X700 XT ‘Fatal1ty’ graphics card that boasts capabilities not available on other products of this kind shipping today.

ABIT Fatal1ty X700 XT graphics card for PCI Express applications is made using ABIT’s own reference design designed with the so-called OC strips for higher overclocking capabilities, equipped with RADEON X700 XT graphics processor clocked at 475MHz, 256MB of GDDR3 memory, D-Sub, DVI-I and TV-Out connectors, dynamic cooling solution as well as copper heat-sinks on VPU and memory.

While ABIT’s Fatal1ty RADEON X700 XT has a number of advantages over competing products, it does not feature vGuru technology, a hardware and software complex that allows end-users to adjust certain settings, delivering better overclockability as well as ensuring quieter operation.

Current iteration of vGuru feature on graphics cards is not as broad as that found on ABIT’s mainboards. At the moment graphics cards’ vGuru can help users to adjust core and memory clocks, core and memory voltages, automatically control fan, monitor voltage, temperatures and fan speed, set usage presets and even email the owner about certain abnormal events. While some graphics cards allow overclocking, monitoring and fan speed control, they do not offer voltage adjustments, bug reporting and enable usage presets.

ABIT says its Fatal1ty hardware is made according to its BulletProof guidelines: it utilizes high quality components, features efficient and stable power supply circuitry, passes ABIT’s Torture Test, a series of looping demos and benchmarks designed to tax a mainboard far beyond normal use.

Pricing of ABIT’s RADEON X700 XT ‘Fatal1ty’ graphics card is unclear. Earlier ABIT unveiled its Fatal1ty AA8XE mainboard.
