A limited quantity pre-order campaign on ATI’s web site saw excellent demand for the RADEON 9800 PRO, selling out in a matter of days, the company said on Wednesday. Products for customers who pre-ordered RADEON 9800 PRO graphics begin shipping today.

RADEON 9800 PRO graphics cards are equipped with 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory and are based on the highly-anticipated R350 VPU that implements 8 rendering pipelines with 1 TMU per each as well as boasts with the DirectX 9.0 support. The graphics chip on a RAEON 9800 PRO graphics card  runs at 380MHz, while 256-bit DDR SDRAM memory is clocked at 680MHz.

Expect massive availability of the RADEON 9800 PRO-based solutions next week. MSRP for the RADEON 9800 PRO is $399.
