Consumer Electronics Show that this year was flooded with hardware companies is over and it’s time to conclude, what did the show actually brought.

“This year's CES proved to be an interesting show but also acted as a good reminder that convergence is far from here,” claimed AnandTech web-site, who covered various innovations, including Intel’s dual-core processors and Intel’s Sonoma mobile platform.

“This year at CES, the revolution not only wasn't televised, it didn't happen. With nary a sign of a break-through product, the 2005 version of the Consumer Electronics Show focused on smaller, cheaper, bigger and brighter versions of already-released technologies,” thinks ExtremeTech web-site, who concentrated on making things straight about the technologies demonstrated.

Apple Sues Mac Enthusiasts Web-Site. Apple Attacks First Amendment

Apple Computer, a maker of proprietary personal computers, last week filed a case against individuals who revealed certain secrets of the company as well as Think Secret web-site, one of the world’s most popular enthusiast web-site dedicated to the Macs and other products Apple makes. By filing the suit Apple might attack the main principles of journalism, some observers said.

“Apple does not seek to discourage communication protected by the free-speech guarantees of the United States and California constitutions. These constitutionally protected freedoms, however, do not extend to defendants' unlawful practice of misappropriating and disseminating trade secrets acquired through the deliberate violation of known duties of confidentiality,” Apple said in the suit.
