7TV, BTTV, and FFZ Emotes on Your Mobile!

A huge part of your Twitch experience is literally just spamming emotes in people’s chats because everyone likes funny moving pictures. When it comes to Twitch emotes, we can all admit that they are quite limited therefore extensions like BTTV, FFZ and lately 7TV are extremely popular on the platform.

Unlike the full PC twitch experience, mobile Twitch watching is lacking since you lose access to all of the emote extensions relegating you to just seeing text in chats instead of the actual pictures/GIFs. Luckily there is a way to fix this situation and it is quite simple!

DankChat & Chatsen

Just like a separate chat application for your PC (Chatterino), you can download a separate application that enables all the 7TV, BTTV, and FFZ emotes on your mobile device. Currently, you can use DankChat and Chatsen as an alternative to the boring Twitch mobile experience.

All you have to do is download the app, log into your account, and add the channel you want to watch and voila you have all of your emotes available. Do not forget to also tap on Toggle Stream so you can actually see the video feed.

The only real downside of this method of watching mobile Twitch is that you cannot make use of the video player pop-out feature on your mobile device so multitasking will be out of the question while using the emote-enabled Twitch chat apps.

This is a small price to pay overall for the Pepe the frog emotes though so I would encourage you to try the emote-enabled chats on your mobile and see how you like them. In the worst-case scenario where you do not fancy the emotes on your mobile you just delete the app and go back to vanilla Twitch. pepe emote
