How Do Twitch Drops Work?

Aside from being extremely fun and addictive, Twitch is also one of the most rewarding platforms for gamers out there. Did you know that you can actually win in-game items and rewards for a variety of different games just from watching your favorite Twitch streamer?

This is possible with the help of a unique feature called Twitch Drops. It allows viewers to get lucky and win items for games like RUST, The Elder Scrolls, and more. Remember, if you’re watching a Squad Stream on Twitch then the chances of seeing more drops are even higher.

How to Earn Twitch Drops?

To earn any kind of Twitch Drop, you first need to make sure that the person streaming has enabled this feature for their viewers.

If that checks out, the second thing you must do is link your Twitch account to your account of the game they are offering drops for. To do this, the streamer will let their viewers know about the activation of drops.

This notification will send you to a page explaining how to connect your accounts and set everything up to be able to receive Twitch Drops.

Once you’ve done all the necessary steps and are done, go back to the Twitch live stream and wait for a chance to win various rewards. You can also find which accounts you have your Twitch connected to, such as connecting Discord and Twitch, by going to Settings > Connections.
