Twitch is one of the most popular entertainment platforms for viewers across the world. However, it’s important to know that it’s simply not for everyone. Whatever the reason for you deleting your Twitch account is, you can always completely disable or delete it and move on.

Here are the steps you need to take in order to delete your Twitch account:

Delete Your Twitch Account

Step 1: Go to Twitch.tv and log into the account you want to delete. Keep in mind, if you have another account that you want to keep, double-check that you are logged into the correct one.

Step 2: Go to Profile > Settings > scroll all the way down and click on “Disable Account”. This will make your account inactive but will keep your information just in case. If you want to completely delete your Twitch account, then click on this link.

Step 3: You can choose to share the reason why you are deleting your account. This will help Twitch improve its platform. But, this is completely optional and you can simply go right ahead and click on “Delete Account”.

This will send a request to Twitch and it will take a few minutes to a few hours to completely remove your account. Once that is done, there is no way to get it back.

If you’re deleting your account because you thought it would be easier to reach more viewers, there are still many methods you can try to increase your audience. Consider trying to Squad Stream on Twitch with other channels, share your stream on social media, and simply be patient for your audience to grow organically and as a result of your efforts.
